Directions from Malaga airport

On leaving Malaga airport, follow the signs for N340 towards Motril/Almeria (maps and directions are available from your car hire company). Keep on this motorway around Malaga for about 25 minutes until you get to junction 272, Velez-Malaga/La Vinuela. Follow this road for about 20 minutes until you approach Lake Vinuela. You will see a large sign with an arrow pointing right for Colmenar & Alhama (there is a smaller sign before this without an arrow- ignore!!). Straight after this signpost, bear right and follow the signs to Periana, BE CAREFUL, THIS SIGN IS EASILY MISSED! Keeping the lake on your left, follow this road for about 4 kms. Shortly after the An Gas petrol station, take the next left turning towards Periana (signposted 7 kms). This windy road will take you into Periana. As you enter the village, take the left fork and park in the car park next to the Ayuntamiento (town hall) - parking is free

Casa Limon is a few minutes walk straight down the hill passing bars and shops. When you reach the bright yellow ceramics shop (called "Ceramica Sonia"), we are a few paces further down, on the left, with blue doors

Taxis are available from the airport and cost around 48-50 Euros. However, if you let us know in advance that you require a lift from the airport we can arrange it for you for 45 euros
